I have read that Symphony 3.0 working with Domino via LSX is not supported (an old way of modifying excel and words docs in the back end).
So what is the alternative?
Basically I want to achieve the following;
1. I need to capture basic financial data on an Xpage/notes document.
2. Send the data that is captured, to a pre formatted (template) symphony 3.0 spreadsheet located in a notes doc, or anywhere really. Note: it is very complex and has cool graphs in it.
3. I need to "save as" either a single web page or "save as" pdf (in other words I need a handle to some inherent spreadsheet functionality)
4. Then attach the new file to a web page/notes document for clicking.(hence, illuminating the page with funky graphs and pictures).
Sounds easy enough.
In short we have a some great graphic functions in symphony that we need to use and then display the results on the web after populating. It cannot be reliant on the client having symphony installed, but we can have it installed on the server.
All ideas welcome.
Thanks
Damien
ps. if it's easier in MS office (Excel) we can go that way as well.
